Meet the team

Paul Douglas
Paul works on many of our flagship housing projects, including those utilising the latest sustainable and carbon neutral technologies in homes and commercial settings.

Matthew Twigger
Matthew commenced his career with a Main Contractor before joining the practice in 1999. He is a highly experienced Employer’s Agent, Project Manager and QS across all sectors.

Nigel Slack
Nigel’s experience as a Quantity Surveyor is second to none. He has steered through so many projects, he knows how much a job should cost by instinct.

Mark Bickle
With over 35 years in the industry and the Senior Partner for the last couple of years, Mark goes way back with the practice.

Stephen Brigg
Stephen is Partner in charge of our Quantity Surveying team. He joined the Practice in 1987, being appointed Associate in 1990 and Partner in 1996.

Steve Gunn
Before Joining Michael Eyres Steve was a Project Director with a Bradford based contractor. Having over 25 years in the construction industry, in management, for both contractors and client side, he brings in-depth and diverse commercial knowledge to our Quantity Surveying practice. Steve has a practical, personable and professional approach to construction projects and shares the partnership's values in caring greatly about his clients.
Out of the office, Steve keeps busy with his hobbies, cycling and maintaining his classic cars. As well as being a big cricket fan, he loves spending time with his family, enjoying walks in the NY Moors with their whippet Poppy.

Matthew Parry
Matthew completed a Masters in Quantity Surveying from the University College of Estate Management in 2017 and in 2022 he became a member of the RICS. He has experience working within the healthcare sector with a focus on cash flow management and project programming. Outside of work Matthew enjoys playing squash and is also an avid Bradford City supporter.

Stephanie Cummins
Stephanie joined the company in 1999 as Receptionist/Secretary and is now the Office Manager, with her main responsibilities including the day-to-day management of the company accounts, employee payroll and invoicing, together with secretarial and general administrative duties.
Out of the office Stephanie can usually be found crafting in some form or another.

Les Allinson
Les joined the company in 2000 after leaving British Telecommunications plc. His duties are of a general support role to the rest of the team and maintaining the partnership's paper archive.
His interests include fly fishing and the history and development of the Scottish whisky industry.
